We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to support our teams and strengthen our culture across all locations.

Role Overview

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources for Devasya, includingrecruitment, employee relations, training, payroll coordination, compliance, and performancemanagement. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a structured approach, and theability to manage HR needs across both retail and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail staff, office employees, production, and support teams.
  • Create and post job listings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and handle offer rollouts.
  • Develop an effective onboarding process to ensure new employees integrate smoothly.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and store-level HR issues.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Devasyas brandvalues.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries.

4. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems and periodic reviews for retail and office staff.
  • Support managers in goal-setting, performance improvement plans, and career development.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill development workshops.

5. Retail HR Support

  • Provide ongoing HR support to store managers for staffing, scheduling, and operational HR needs.
  • Conduct periodic visits to retail stores for audits, training, and employee check-ins.

6. Policy Development

  • Update and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure consistent communication of HR guidelines across stores and office teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 25 years of HR experience (retail or fashion industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, and documentation.
