Job Description
BricknBolt is a managed marketplace providing construction services. We are category creators and front-runners in space. We are solving one of the most complex business problems and creating an ecosystem of trust for the Stakeholders - Customers, Construction professionals, and Material vendors. Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. We are just not trying to organize but disrupt the industry completely using technology and process - creating the playbook for the industry.
Indian real estate is earmarked to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. With 85%+ construction still unorganized in India, Brick&Bolt is on a path to capture the massive and super-broken market using our technology and processes.
Expanding to more than 12 cities in 15 months. With the Series A2 round, Brick&Bolt has raised a total of $16 million. Earlier Sequoia Surge, Foundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital.
About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy HR Head / People & Talent Leader who has built and scaled teams in fast-growing startups, especially across operations and sales-heavy environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist + People Operations driving hiring, culture, performance, and people processes at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Own end-to-end hiring strategy and execution across leadership, sales, operations, tech, and support roles
- Personally close senior and critical leadership positions
- Build scalable sourcing pipelines and employer branding initiatives
- Drive hiring velocity without compromising quality
- Track and optimize TA metrics (TAT, cost per hire, quality of hire)
HR Generalist & People Operations (40%)
- Lead HRBP, payroll, onboarding, engagement, and compliance functions
- Build strong performance management and feedback culture
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and org design
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Build a high-ownership, high-performance work culture
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of 1215 across TA, HRBP, payroll, and onboarding
- Set goals, performance metrics, and development plans for team members
- Build a hands-on, accountable HR organization
What Were Looking For
- 715 years of experience in HR & Talent Acquisition in high-growth startups
- Strong exposure to sales & operations-heavy hiring environments
- Proven track record of hands-on senior hiring closures
- Experience managing mid to large HR/TA teams
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- High energy, ownership mindset, and execution-driven personality
