Serving more than 2.5 million students, parents, and professionals every month, UrbanPro helps users fulfill learning needs in over 1,000 categories. The platform empowers users to compare and select Tutors, Trainers, or Institutes that match their unique requirements. UrbanPro also enables Tutors and Institutes to offer both online and offline coaching services, fostering connections for seamless learning experiences.


Role Description

We run paid campaigns across Google, Meta and other platforms. This role will own:

  • Paid acquisition strategy
  • Lifecycle & retention marketing
  • Funnel optimization
  • Marketing analytics & attribution
  • A team of 45 across paid, content, email and social

This is a capital allocation + growth systems role, not just campaign management.


Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Paid Acquisition Leadership

  • Own budget allocation
  • Drive channel efficiency (Google, Meta, others)
  • Improve CAC, ROAS, and payback period
  • Develop structured testing roadmap


2.LTV & Unit Economics Ownership

  • Build and track LTV/CAC by cohort
  • Improve contribution margin
  • Work with product to improve monetization
  • Monitor payback windows


3.Funnel & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve website conversion rates
  • Optimize landing pages and flows
  • Coordinate with product & tech teams


4.Lifecycle & Retention

  • Strengthen CRM/email strategy
  • Improve repeat monetization
  • Drive reactivation programs


5.Team Leadership

  • Manage and grow a 45 member team
  • Set KPIs and accountability
  • Improve execution discipline


Skills Required

  • 812 years of experience in growth/performance marketing
  • 3+ years managing significant paid budgets (3 Cr+/year) on Google Adwords and Meta.
  • Experience in marketplace / edtech / subscription businesses
  • Strong analytical mindset (comfortable with cohorts & attribution)
  • Experience managing teams (3+ people)
  • Data-driven decision maker
  • Exposure to marketing analytics tools (GA4, PostHog, etc.)


Bonus:

  • Experience with mixed revenue models
  • Experience scaling beyond 1 Cr/month ad spend
