Bullet is a next-generation microdrama platform backed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, built for mobile-first, high-frequency storytelling. We operate at the intersection of content, technology, performance marketing, and brand-building, with a sharp focus on Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
The Head of Marketing will own Bullets end-to-end marketing charter across brand, growth, performance, social, and community . This is a senior leadership role responsible for building Bullet into a culturally relevant, high-recall entertainment brand while driving scalable user acquisition and monetisation in a startup environment.
This role requires a rare balance of creative brand thinking and deep performance discipline , with the ability to operate hands-on when required.
- Build Bullet as a distinct, youth-first entertainment brand in India
- Define and evolve brand voice, positioning, and cultural relevance
- Lead brand campaigns across digital, social, creators, and partnerships
- Ensure consistency across app, content launches, PR, and offline presence
- Own user acquisition, retention, and monetisation funnels
- Deep understanding of paid channels: Meta, Google, YouTube, affiliates, influencer-led performance
- Drive CAC efficiency, cohort performance, and LTV optimisation
- Work closely with product and data teams on experimentation and growth loops
- Build strong social-led distribution across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Design creator-first amplification strategies for shows and IPs
- Drive virality, trend hijacking, and content-led growth
- Build long-term community and fandom around Bullet shows
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new shows, seasons, and IP launches
- Define launch playbooks for microdrama formats
- Collaborate with content, programming, and Greenlite teams on market-readiness
- Build and lead a high-performance marketing team across performance, brand, social, and partnerships
- Manage agencies, creators, and external partners
- Set clear KPIs, dashboards, and accountability frameworks
- Operate comfortably in a zero-to-one and one-to-scale environment
- Work closely with founders, product, tech, revenue, and content teams
- Balance long-term brand building with short-term growth goals
- 15+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles
- Proven experience in building brands from scratch or scaling brands
- Strong hands-on understanding of performance marketing and analytics
- Deep exposure to digital-first and social-led marketing
- Prior experience in startups or fast-scaling digital businesses
- Comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and experimentation
- Experience in OTT, entertainment, gaming, media, or content platforms
- Exposure to microdrama, short-form video, or youth content ecosystems
- Creator economy and influencer-led growth experience
- Prior P&L or revenue-linked marketing ownership
- Bullet becomes a recognisable, high-recall youth entertainment brand
- Strong, predictable user growth with improving CAC and LTV
