Head of Finance

Role Summary

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead the firms finance function with a strong focus on

Business Finance and Strategic Financial Planning.

This role will partner closely with leadership to drive revenue planning, pricing discipline, profitability visibility, and financial performance management across the firm.

While the primary mandate will be Business Finance, the incumbent is expected to bring a solid foundation in controllership and provide guidance when required to ensure strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Finance Leadership

• Lead the business finance function for the firm. Active problem solving on resource utilization, project governance, pipeline management and margin improvement.
• Drive annual operating planning(AOP), revenue forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Establish frameworks to track profitability across partners, projects,and business lines.

2. Commercial Decision Support

• Partner with leadership on pricing, deal evaluation, and margin management.
• Build financial models and scenario planning frameworks for key strategic decisions.
• Provide analytical insights to support growth initiatives and investments.

3. Performance Management

• Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track revenue, utilization, margins, and key business KPIs.
• Drive periodic performance reviews with leadership teams.

4. Finance Governance

• Maintain strong understanding of controllership processes and financial compliance.
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure financial discipline and governance across the organization.

5. Process & Systems

• Build scalable financial planning and reporting processes.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and financial visibility across the organization

Candidate Requirements

• ~1012 years of finance experience.
• Chartered Accountant preferred (Finance MBA considered).
• Early experience in controllership, audit, or compliance.
• 56 yearsof experience in Business Finance/ Commercial Finance/ FP&A roles with strong business partnering exposure.
• Experience in a startup, new-age company, or high-growth environment preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to operatein an entrepreneurial environment and build processes from scratch.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
