Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished, analytical, and strategic Finance Head to oversee all financial operations, drive financial growth, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. You will lead the FP&A, accounting, and compliance teams, partnering with executive leadership to optimize costs, manage working capital, and support B2B sales scaling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & FP&A: Lead annual operating planning (AOP), budgeting, and forecasting. Develop financial models to support business scaling, pricing strategies, and long-term sustainability.


  • B2B Revenue & Metrics Management: Track key B2B metrics including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). Manage complex invoicing, deferred revenue, and long-term contracts.


  • Cash Flow & Accounts Receivable: Optimize cash flow through rigorous AR management and collections. Manage working capital to ensure business liquidity.


  • Financial Reporting & Controls: Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP. Oversee statutory and internal audits.


  • Business Partnering: Partner with GTM (Go-to-Market), Sales, and Product teams to analyze customer-specific profitability and support contract negotiations.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support investor due diligence, fundraising, and prepare investor-ready MIS and board decks.


  • Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with all direct/indirect tax regulations (GST, income tax) and corporate laws.


  • Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance (or equivalent).
  • Experience: 812+ years of experience in financial management, with a minimum of 2-5 years in a leadership role (preferably within a B2B SaaS or tech environment).
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of financial modeling, ERP systems (Zoho is a plus), and advanced Excel skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of B2B revenue recognition, credit control, and working capital management.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to present complex financial data to board members/investors.
