Head of Finance | Early-Stage Fintech Portfolio Company

One of our early-stage Fintech portfolio companies is looking for a Head of Finance to build and grow the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Drive clean statutory reporting, month-end closing, and accounting with external vendors
• Drive strong financial controls and processes for the business
• Manage regional tax reporting
• Manage the treasury function including cashflow management, and all banking relationships
• Help the founders with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Help the founders with financial and investor reporting

Qualifications

• At least 8 to 10 years of experience
• CA/CPA preferred
• Someone with Fintech/Financial Services experience is critical
• Someone with a big 4 background would be advantageous
• Prior experience working in a startup would be highly advantageous
• Someone who embraces ambiguity and thrives on building things from the ground up
