We are hiring Head of Finance for AMGBT Pune.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the GCC unit to support strategic decision-making and business growth
• Review, reconcile, and analyze unit financials, providing insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and alternative methodologies
• Prepare and present financial reports, including departmental and organizational financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with executive management on risk management, and financial policies to ensure long-term financial stability
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs and strategic initiatives
• Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Support audits by coordinating with internal and external auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of digital finance tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance and cost optimization

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or multinational environment
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting in an Indian business context.
• Experience managing financial operations, compliance, and audit processes
• Experience in Tally ERP systems and finance automation tools is preferred
• Experience in business partnering and cross-functional collaboration is advantageous

Education Qualifications and Certifications

• Professional certifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Cost and Management Accountant), or CPA is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in financial modeling, risk management, or digital finance tools are a plus

Must Have skills

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail
• Effective communication and presentation skills for liaising with senior management and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills
• Leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing finance teams

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with GCC operating models and global finance best practices.
• Experience in financial process automation, digital transformation, and use of AI-powered finance tools
• Knowledge of treasury management, risk mitigation, and cash flow optimization
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence decision-making through financial insights
• Experience in industry-specific finance functions such as IT, manufacturing, or services is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-cultural teams
