Job Description

A rapidly growing Indian food brand is looking for an experienced Head of Exports International Markets based at Chennai


Role highlights:

Global Market Strategy

- Build and execute international expansion roadmap

- Identify and prioritize high-potential countries and channels

Sales & Business Development

- Own the full international sales lifecycle

- Develop distributor, agent, and strategic partner relationships

Export Operations

- Oversee export logistics, compliance, customs, and documentation

- Coordinate with supply chain and operations for timely delivery

Targets & Performance

- Set and achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets

- Track KPIs and drive performance reviews

Team Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing exports team

- Mentor team members and create a results-driven culture

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain teams

- Support product localization and pricing strategies


Required Experience & Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in exports / international business

- Proven track record of scaling global markets

- Strong understanding of export regulations and compliance

- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- FMCG / Food / Retail exports experience preferred
