Job Title: Events Head

Organisation: The Free Press Journal

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Role Summary

Lead the ideation, planning, execution, and monetization of Free Press events and IPs in Indore, building properties that strengthen the brand and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop innovative event concepts aligned with Free Press's editorial and brand vision.

* Drive revenue through sponsorships, partnerships, and ticketing.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, agencies, institutions, and government bodies in Indore.

* Oversee end-to-end event execution, planning, production, logistics, marketing, permissions, and audience experience.

* Manage budgets, vendor negotiations, timelines, and P&L.

* Coordinate with editorial, marketing, sales, and digital teams for amplification.

* Track performance, prepare post-event reports, and scale successful IPs.

Experience & Skills

* 610 years in events, media, partnerships, or experiential marketing.

* Strong network in Indores corporate and institutional ecosystem.

* Proven ability to conceptualize events and achieve revenue targets.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and project management skills.

Success Metrics

* Sponsorship and ticketing revenue

* Event profitability and impact

* Growth and consistency of FPJ event IPs

* Partner satisfaction and repeat business
