Head of English Department for the academic year 2026-27

We are seeking an experienced Head of the English Department with expertise in Cambridge and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula. The ideal candidate will lead the department, ensure high-quality teaching, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the English Department, guiding teachers and developing departmental goals.
• Oversee curriculum development and implementation for Cambridge and IB programs.
• Promote best teaching practices and assess student performance.
• Organise professional development for staff and foster collaboration within the department.
• Engage with students, parents, and the community to promote the department.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Significant teaching experience in Cambridge and IB curricula.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
