About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical strategy, managing large engineering teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable products. This role requires a strong technical background combined with proven leadership experience in fast-growing product companies or startups.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the engineering organization, managing multiple teams and engineering managers.
• Define and drive the overall engineering strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Build, mentor, and manage large engineering teams (50+ engineers) while promoting a strong engineering culture.
• Ensure best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Drive innovation and adoption of modern technologies and cloud-native solutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure timely product delivery.
• Establish engineering processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience in software engineering and technology.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• 5+ years managing large engineering teams of 50+ members.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations.
• Experience working in product-based companies or high-growth startups.

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern tech stacks such as Java, Python, Node.js, and React.
• Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and modern data management strategies.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and real-world applications is a plus.
