About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Engineering to own end-to-end technology execution across IoT, cloud, data, ML systems, and applications, and build an engineering organization that ships reliably in real-world environments.

What You'll Own

Hands-on architectural ownership of critical systems and technical decisions

Technical execution and platform architecture across IoT, cloud, data platforms, ML systems, and applications

Design of resilient, edge-aware systems that operate under imperfect network and field conditions

Engineering standards for reliability, security, scalability, and testability

Building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing engineering team

Close collaboration with Product and Operations to translate domain knowledge into software systems

What You'll Build

Robust device-to-cloud and edge-enabled systems for industrial deployments

Scalable backend services and operator-facing applications that turn data into actionable outcomes

Data and ML pipelines for monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization

Automated testing frameworks across devices, data, and applications

A culture of ownership, operational excellence, and clear decision-making

What We're Looking For

10+ years building and scaling complex systems (IoT, distributed systems, industrial software, or large-scale data platforms)

Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Working understanding of IoT, edge computing, and automated equipment control systems

Experience deploying ML systems in production that drive operational or business outcomes

Proven leadership of engineering teams in startups or fast-growing companies

Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
