Head of Engineering (Remote - Based in India)

We're hiring a Head of Engineering to lead and manage a growing engineering team. The ideal candidate would be someone with strong hands-on technical proficiency and depth and has proven leadership capabilities within mid-sized, product focused environments.

This role would be a fully remote role, open to candidates based anywhere in India .

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Drive engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery excellence
• Oversee technical decisions across Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript and able to contribute to hands-on development work
• Lead cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Manage Kubernetes-based production environments and microservices deployments
• Partner with Product and cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable, secure features

What We're Looking For

• 15-20 years engineering experience; with at least 3-5+ years in senior engineering leadership
• Strong background in Java/Spring Boot, JavaScript, microservices, and modern cloud engineering
• Hands-on familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and distributed systems and strong experience in Kubernetes production environment
• Strong people leadership, strategic thinking, and delivery capability
