Head of Energy & Utility Management

Will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all McDonald's restaurants across India (West & South). With a focus on cost optimization, sustainability, and operational excellence, advocating for implementation and maintenance of sustainable sources of renewable energy, i.e., Solar energy, Net Zero, etc. and high efficiency HVAC energy saving initiatives.

Strategic Leadership & Direction:

1. Develop, communicate, and reinforce Equipment & Utilities Systems strategies to meet current and future business needs for McDonald's in India.
2. Ensure departmental activities align with the overall corporate strategy and direction.
3. Secure the necessary staff, systems, resources, and infrastructure to fulfill the department's mission and business needs.

Utility Management:

1. Spearhead new initiatives for energy conservation across McDonald's restaurants in India.
2. Develop budgets and analyze energy consumption patterns to identify areas for optimization.
3. Collaborate with development teams to design energy-efficient McDonald's restaurants.
4. Stay informed about the latest environmentally friendly technologies and initiatives.
5. Energy Management Systems (IoT based) and water conservation will be critical responsibilities.
