About the Role


Whacked Out Media is looking for a Head of Design to lead and scale our design function across content, marketing, and social platforms. This role will define the visual language of the brand, build a strong design culture, and drive innovation through technology and AI-led design solutions.

You will work closely with content, marketing, social media, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact, high-quality creative output at scale.


Key Responsibilities


Design Vision & Brand Identity

  • Define and own the design language, tonality, and visual identity of Whacked Out Media across all platforms.
  • Ensure consistency and high creative standards across digital content, marketing campaigns, and social media assets.

Design Operations & Delivery

  • Revamp, refine, and optimize the daily design delivery pipeline for content and marketing.
  • Reduce turnaround time (TAT) while improving output quality and feedback efficiency.
  • Establish clear workflows, templates, and best practices for scalable design production.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong core design team with a fresh and modern creative approach.
  • Integrate AI tools and modern design software to empower ADs and social media teams to make quick, lightweight design edits.

Creative Innovation

  • Reimagine design approaches for marketing promotions, digital campaigns, and social-first content.
  • Drive innovation in design workflows using Gen AI for graphics, marketing creatives, and social media content.


Required Skills & Experience


  • 812+ years of experience in design leadership roles (media, digital, agency, or content-driven environments preferred).
  • Strong expertise in branding, visual design, digital content, and social media creatives.
  • Proven experience in building and managing high-performing design teams.
  • Hands-on knowledge of design tools, workflows, and AI-driven creative platforms.
  • Strong understanding of fast-paced content environments and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
