Job Summary

Our Client is seeking a qualified and experienced Vice Principal/HOD cum Senior English Teacher to teach students from Classes VI to XII. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster students interest in English language and literature while preparing them for academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to students from Classes VIXII in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials to support effective learning.
• Strengthen students grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and class participation through discussions, debates, and literary activities.
• Assess and evaluate students through tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic planning sessions.
• Use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in English or English Literature.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in teaching methodology or language training will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
• Experience teaching middle and senior school (Classes 612) and experienced HOD/Vice Principal is required.
• Familiarity with CBSE will be preferred.
