We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounts (HOD Accounts) to lead our finance and compliance function, bringing strong systems thinking, multi-state compliance expertise, and deep hands-on control over numbers.


What Youll Do

  • Lead the entireAccounts and Compliance function, including financial control, reporting, statutory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Managemulti-state GST, TDS, and statutory filings, ensuring zero deviation from compliance norms.
  • Overseemulti-state compliance, maintaining accurate records, reconciliations, and jurisdictional reporting.
  • Leadmonthly, quarterly, and annual closingprocesses, ensuring accuracy, speed, and management clarity.
  • HandleMulti-State-GST filings, audits, and assessmentsacross all operating states.
  • Develop advancedfinancial models, MIS reports, and dashboardsusingExcel (Advanced level with VBA/Macros required).
  • Create and maintainrobust systems and processesfor accounting, documentation, and cash flow visibility across the organization.
  • Lead interactions with statutory auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Build internal controls around billing, vendor payments, and compliance workflow.
  • Mentor and train the accounting team to improve process accuracy, efficiency, and cross-functional discipline.
  • Drive discipline, planning, and organization in every accounting process and workflow.


Who You Are

  • CA (Mandatory)
  • 4+ years of end-to-end accounting and finance experience, preferably in small to mid-sized organizations where systems were built from the ground up.
  • Deep knowledge ofMulti-State GST, compliance, registrations, and reconciliations.
  • AdvancedExcel expertise, includingVBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, and Automation.
  • Proven ability tocreate and implement systemsrather than operate existing ones.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills must be methodical, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in agile setups or small organizations requiring hands-on control.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
  • Experienced in e-Commerce Accounting
