Head of Data Engineering - Director Level

Position: Head of Engineering - Data & AI

Grade : Director

Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Hybrid

We are looking for a visionary Head of Engineering Data & AI to lead enterprise Data Platforms, AI/ML, and GenAI strategy for a global cloud-based product organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute Data & AI platform strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead enterprise data platforms (Snowflake preferred), data lakes, and streaming systems
• Drive modern data warehousing, ELT pipelines, DBT transformations, and BI enablement
• Scale AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, and Vector DB solutions into production
• Build and mentor high-performing global Data & AI teams

Profile:

• 12+ years in Data Engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership
• Strong expertise in Snowflake/Databricks/Redshift and AWS-based architectures
• Deep understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, and modern data architecture
• Executive presence with strong strategic and communication skills
