Position Title : Head of Corporate Quality - Offshore

Reports To: Business Vertical Head

Purpose of Role

• To Head Quality Assurance &Inspection of large EPC projects for Offshore Vertical.
• Monitor project performance with respect to QA&I.
• Train young engineers in metallurgy, inspection procedures, stringent quality requirements of complex Hydrocarbon Projects. Handle department administrative matters.

Base Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities

• To ensure that the Quality of the offshore services remains as per the benchmark

Key Deliverables

• Build and maintain a team of technically competent engineers to maintain high quality standards, support SBUs to achieve quality, timelines and execution of projects within budget to meet overall SBU value drivers.

Team Size and Profile

• Team size(direct reports): 11
• Team size(indirect reports): Approx.- 125

Education: B. E (Mechanical)

Professional Experience

Thorough understanding of quality assurance and inspection requirements of Offshore Platforms, risks associated with the complex projects, technological changes, tight schedules associated with project business. Knowledge of current business environment, competition, planning, vendor management and negotiation.
