Head of Banking Technology & Delivery

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic senior leader to spearhead growth initiatives across new markets within the Banking domain. This high-impact executive role is designed for a visionary with a strong foundation in presales, delivery excellence, and strategic market expansion.

The ideal candidate must bring deep banking industry experience, robust technology leadership capabilities, strong P&L management exposure, and exceptional customer engagement skills.

Location: Hyderabad /Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a respected technology-aligned delivery leader with strong affinity to banking technology solutions.
• Lead diverse programs across staff augmentation, fixed-price, capacity-based, output-based, and outcome-based models.
• Drive and execute the growth strategy for operations in newer markets within the banking vertical.
• Oversee presales, delivery, and client engagement to ensure scalable and profitable growth.
• Manage large P&L portfolios, consistently achieving or exceeding financial targets.
• Drive multiple delivery accounts to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing delivery teams.
• Maintain deep understanding of banking sector trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with global leadership to align regional strategies with broader corporate objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and deliver innovative, banking-specific technology solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have strong banking domain experience mandatory.
• Senior leadership experience, preferably as a VP or equivalent, with proven strengths in presales, delivery, and strategic growth.
• Strong background as an Engineering Technology leader; experience creating high-performance Agile teams.
• Prior experience working with or within large IT services companies.
• Demonstrated success managing large P&L portfolios.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multicultural environments.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 24+ years of experience in technology services or consulting, with strong banking domain exposure.
• Proven track record in leading market expansion and revenue growth in emerging markets.
