We are a Stealth AI Startup driving large-scale AI transformation initiatives for a leading organization in genomics, biotechnology, and precision medicine.

We are looking for a Head of AI / Chief AI Officer to own and execute the end-to-end AI strategy from vision and architecture to production systems and real-world impact.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has built and scaled AI platforms in high-ambiguity environments and can translate complex scientific and business problems into scalable AI solutions.

AI Strategy & Transformation

• Define and execute a company-wide AI roadmap aligned with long-term business and scientific goals
• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across genomics, drug discovery, diagnostics, and internal operations
• Establish an AI-first operating model across teams

Genomics & Multi-Omics AI

• Lead AI/ML pipelines for whole genome sequencing, variant interpretation, polygenic risk scoring, and multi-omics integration
• Ensure clinical-grade validation, reproducibility, and robustness of models

AI-Driven Drug Discovery

• Drive AI initiatives across target identification, biomarker discovery, generative chemistry, virtual screening, and ADMET prediction
• Accelerate discovery-to-preclinical timelines using AI

AI Platforms & Products

• Build scalable AI platforms for diagnostics, precision medicine, and research partnerships
• Define data and model monetization strategies including platform licensing and co-development
• Translate research outputs into production-ready, revenue-generating systems

AI Engineering & MLOps

• Own AI architecture, cloud/GPU strategy, model deployment, and MLOps/LLMOps pipelines
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, compliant, and production-grade

Leadership & Team Building

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing AI research and engineering teams
• Set technical standards and review complex system designs

External Collaboration

• Act as the AI leader for partners, investors, and collaborators
• Support fundraising and strategic partnerships with strong AI narratives and demos

Required

• 1018+ years of experience in AI / ML / Applied AI
• Proven experience leading AI transformation initiatives (not just isolated models)
• Strong hands-on understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and production AI systems
• Ability to convert business and scientific problems into scalable AI solutions

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience in life sciences, genomics, drug discovery, or healthcare AI
• Prior role as Head of AI, Chief AI Officer, Principal AI Architect, or AI Platform Lead
• Experience building AI teams from scratch in startup or high-growth environments
• Exposure to global enterprise or pharma partnerships

• Build an AI-native transformation engine from the ground up
• Work on proprietary, high-impact biological and genomic data
