Job Overview

The Head of AI will lead the organizations artificial intelligence strategy, development, and deployment across products and internal platforms. This role is responsible for building scalable AI solutions, driving innovation, and aligning AI initiatives with business objectives. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into impactful AI-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong product-building capabilities, turning AI innovations into commercially viable features and solutions that drive user adoption and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the organizations AI vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy

Lead end-to-end AI/ML initiatives including problem definition, model development, deployment, and monitoring

Build, mentor, and manage high-performing AI, data science, and ML engineering teams

Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and leadership teams to identify AI use cases

Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, ethical, and compliant with regulatory standards

Drive adoption of AI across business functions to improve efficiency and decision-making Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, staying ahead of market trends such as agentic AI, multimodal models, Model Context Protocols and advanced reasoning capabilities

Leverage cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI) to accelerate development and deployment of production-grade solutions

Oversee data strategy, model governance, and performance metrics

Present AI insights, progress, and ROI to senior stakeholders and executives

Champion product-centric AI development, from ideation to launch, ensuring AI features enhance product value and competitive differentiation

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field

815 years of overall experience with at least 46 years in AI/ML leadership or architect roles

Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments

Strong product-building track record, including experience in AI-driven product development, commercialization, and go-to-market strategies

Strong understanding of business strategy and AI commercialization

Experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and enterprise-scale systems

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Demonstrated ability to track and adapt to fast-evolving AI market trends and advanced concepts

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI

Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines

Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI services

Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and big data technologies

Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks

Familiarity with advanced/emerging AI concepts such as multimodal AI, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), autonomous systems and Model Context Protocols.

Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and governance frameworks.
