Head of Analytics - SAAS

The VP Data Analytics will be responsible for building a unified view of business performance across all departments, creating compelling data stories, and enabling leadership to make better, faster, and more informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:-

Analytics & Reporting

Own the company-wide analytics framework, ensuring visibility into KPIs across departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, Operations).

Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and scorecards that clearly show where each department stands against goals and benchmarks.

Ensure reporting consistency, accuracy, and timeliness for leadership reviews.

Storytelling & Insights:

Translate data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for leadership.

Build narratives that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.

Provide forward-looking analysis to help shape business strategies.

Cross-Functional Engagement:-

Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into analytics needs.

Standardize KPIs and definitions across the organization for alignment.

Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, helping guide strategic and operational decisions.

Team Leadership:-

Lead and mentor a team of analysts and BI professionals.

Drive adoption of modern BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).

Build scalable processes and governance for enterprise reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:-

15+ years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of building enterprise dashboards, performance reporting systems, and executive-level presentations.

Strong expertise in data visualization tools and KPI frameworks.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills ability to simplify complex data into executive-ready insights.

Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functional decisions.

Solid understanding of business processes across multiple functions (sales, finance, operations, etc.).
