Job Title: Head of Analysis - FP&A
Reports To: Head of Centre of Excellence – Reporting & Analysis
Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE) team as the Head of Analysis – Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role will serve as a critical support to the Global FP&A team based in our headquarter in Copenhagen, running our global FP&A processes and constantly seeking to optimize, improve and drive efficiencies. The role will be key in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting executive decision-making through robust financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead the FP&A function within the CoE, ensuring alignment with global financial strategies and standards.
- Partner with the Global FP&A team in Copenhagen to support strategic planning and performance management.
- Drive consistency and scalability in financial processes across regions and business units.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial analysis to support global decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within FP&A workflows.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and communicate key drivers of performance.
- Global Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between the CoE and the Global FP&A team, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Support the rollout of global FP&A initiatives, tools, and systems.
- Champion best practices and standardization across all financial planning activities.
- Reporting & Performance Management
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports and dashboards for global stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team within the CoE.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in or with a Centre of Excellence or shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI, Excel).
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
