Head of AI Security Practice

Experience: 12+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in AI/ML security, cloud security, or emerging tech security

Role overview

Scybers is launching an AI Security Practice to help enterprises (Finance, Healthcare, SaaS) secure AI systems and adopt GenAI safely. You will build and lead this service line end-to-end: define offerings, win and deliver early projects, hire and mentor a team, build partnerships, and grow revenue.

What you will do

Practice strategy & offerings

• Define the practice vision, service portfolio, and go-to-market approach.
• Build offerings across: AI Governance, AI/Model Risk Management, AI Red Teaming, LLM Security, Shadow AI discovery, and AI-driven cyber defense.

Client delivery leadership

• Lead key engagements: from executive AI risk workshops to technical assessments and red teaming.
• Create repeatable playbooks, templates, and accelerators to scale delivery quality.

Partnerships & market presence

• Build partnerships with AI security vendors and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Represent Scybers in industry forums, events, and thought leadership initiatives.

Team building

• Hire and lead a team of AI Security consultants (governance + technical tracks).
• Build training plans and keep the team ahead of new threats/standards.

Growth and P&L

• Support sales in discovery calls, proposals, and solution design.
• Own practice P&L: utilization, pricing, margins, revenue targets.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience building or leading a consulting/service line.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML threats: prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, adversarial ML, model governance, AI abuse.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud AI environments: Azure ML / AWS SageMaker / GCP Vertex AI.
• Working knowledge of key standards: NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 23894, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, MITRE ATLAS.
• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.
• AppSec/DevSecOps/MLSecOps background would be nice to have.
• Familiarity with AI security vendor ecosystem (e.g., Protect AI, HiddenLayer, CalypsoAI, Credo AI).
