About the Job

DRChoksey Group is strengthening its Institutional Equity platform with a clear focus on AUA-led services supported by deep research and high-conviction investment ideas . This role is a senior leadership position responsible for building, shaping, and scaling the institutional equity franchise by partnering with market participants, capital providers, and advisors in a research-driven, ethical, and scalable manner.

This is not a maintenance role . It is a platform-building opportunity at the intersection of capital markets, credibility, technology, and long-term wealth creation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and scale a credible Institutional Equity platform aligned with deep value investing principles
• Develop and manage long-term relationships with institutional investors, advisors, funds, and market participants
• Drive AUA-led institutional services supported by high-quality research and conviction-led investment ideas
• Partner closely with internal research, strategy, and leadership teams to align investment thinking with client needs
• Lead and scale institutional teams, fostering a culture of ethics, responsibility, and performance
• Build strategic partnerships across the public and private equity ecosystem , both domestic and global
• Represent the firm at senior-level discussions, industry forums, and strategic engagements
• Enable digital-first and technology-led distribution of institutional research and investment platforms
• Contribute to long-term business strategy, governance, and sustainable value creation
• Drive performance-linked outcomes with a strong focus on reputation, trust, and long investment cycles

Skills Required

Domain Skills

• Strong exposure to Institutional Equity markets , advisory, research, or investment products
• Deep understanding of capital markets, equity investing, and institutional investor behavior
• Proven experience in AUA-led models , institutional servicing, or platform-based businesses
• Ability to evaluate and position public and private equity opportunities within an institutional framework
• Strong appreciation of ethics, governance, and long-term investor outcomes

Technical Skills

• Ability to leverage research platforms, digital tools, and market infrastructure for scale
• Strong understanding of institutional research frameworks, investment analysis, and reporting
• Comfort working in a technology-enabled, data-supported investment environment
• Ability to evaluate business scalability, distribution efficiency, and operational robustness

Managerial Skills

• Proven capability to build, lead, motivate, and scale high-performing teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior market participants and decision-makers
• Strategic thinking with execution discipline across long business and relationship cycles
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, accountability, and partnership orientation
• Ability to balance business growth with credibility, patience, and institutional integrity

Experience & Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Institutional Equity, Capital Markets, Research, or Investment Platforms
• Demonstrated track record of building or scaling institutional businesses or partnerships
• Prior experience engaging with senior institutional clients and ecosystem partners
• Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields preferred
• CFA / CA / MBA or equivalent professional qualification is desirable
