Job Description

HR Head is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organizations human resources strategy in alignment with business objectives. This role ensures the development of a high-performance culture, strong talent pipeline, compliant HR practices, and effective employee engagement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :


Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and the board.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Establish robust onboarding, performance management, and career development frameworks.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees and leadership talent.

Performance & Rewards

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Develop competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure pay structures are aligned with market benchmarks and internal equity.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and change management programs.
  • Address employee relations issues and resolve conflicts effectively.

Learning & Development

  • Identify organizational capability gaps and design learning interventions.
  • Promote continuous learning and leadership development programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Oversee HR operations including payroll, HRIS, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage audits, statutory reporting, and risk mitigation related to HR.


  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration is preferred
  • 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 57 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience managing HR at a corporate or multi-location level
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Experience for handling large numbers of workers and labours 2000 nos +
  • Should have experience from service industry, housekeeping or solid waste management activities.
  • Dealing with the municipal corporations / govt department for worker related issues/ compliance / statutory etc.
