Job Description
We are partnering with a leading Hospitality company to identify HR Leader/ CHRO. The position will report to Founders/ MD
Location- Mumbai
CTC - between 80-85 lakhs
Experience - Minimum 10 years
NOTE
Ex- Veterans [Army/ Navy/Airforce] who moved into Hospitality sector in HR function will be preferred for the role.
People from Hospitality/ Hotel industry are also welcome to apply.
Good to have experience of working with a startup organisations in scaling and transitioning HR function

Job Purpose: To build confident, functional HR foundations and a strong recruitment engine for a fast-growing hospitality and premium food retail business, scaling from 675 to 1,100 people, while working closely with founders on automation and systems.

Position: HR Leader/ CHRO
Reports to: Founders/ MD
Key Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities
A. Build a Sharp, Lightweight HR Foundation In the next two years, this leader must ensure:
Clean, dependable HR operations (payroll, compliance, HRMS)
Clear ownership across HR sub-functions
Simple, intuitive processes that managers can actually use
Policies that guide behaviour without slowing the business down the principle: Strong foundations, minimal friction.
B. Rebuild and Run a Strong Recruitment Engine This is the single biggest operational priority. Responsibilities include:
Rebuilding recruitment leadership (new Head of Recruitment)
Creating a scalable hiring engine across: Restaurants (FOH / BOH) Central kitchens Corporate roles Retail operations
Improving hiring speed, quality, and predictability
Training hiring managers on better hiring practices
C. Work Closely with Founders on Automation & AI This role must be comfortable working very closely with founders and the Founders Office. Key expectations:
Openness to AI-led and tech-enabled HR automation
Willingness to rethink traditional HR workflows
Comfort experimenting with tools, dashboards, and smarter systems
Not defensive about how HR is usually done
Role Qualifications
MBA from renowned college campus/ Ex Veteran [Army/ Navy/ Airforce]
10+ years experience in HR with at least 2 years as HR Leader
