Requirement:
B.E. + MBA with 12-15 years of experience in Global product management & Channel management from manufacturing industry preferably Generators. Experience in managing product development processes, from concept to commercialization. Strong understanding of Market research, customer segmentation and competitive analysis. Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams.
Job Summary:
Head of Product Management to lead our product strategy and development efforts in the generator industry. This role will be responsible for driving product innovation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing market share. This role will also oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-market support.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and define product roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings meet market demands and regulatory requirements
Financial: Revenue and profitability ownership: Own global product revenue and margin performance, ensuring achievement of financial targets across markets and channels
Product financial planning: Lead product-level financial planning, including pricing strategy, cost positioning, and lifecycle profitability in coordination with finance and regional teams
Investment and cost governance: Evaluate and approve product-related investments (development, enhancements, launches) and ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment
Operational: Product Development: Lead the product development process, from concept to commercialization. Manage product development teams and oversee the design, engineering, and testing of new products. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize product costs and quality.
Product Launch: Develop and execute effective product launch plans, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and channel partner training. Monitor product launches and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful market entry.
Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, including product introduction, growth, maturity, and decline phases. Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize product portfolios. Identify opportunities for product enhancements, upgrades, and discontinuations.
Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into product development and improvement initiatives. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective product support and service.
