Head – Environment, Social and Governance

Job Purpose

HDFC being the country's largest lender and one of India's largest corporations in terms of Market Cap, the Bank needs to develop, manage and demonstrate good Environmental Social Governance practices. This role is expected to spearhead and drive sustainability and ESG practices within the Bank. It also entails overseeing the reporting & publishing of the Bank's Sustainability practices & disclosures.

Job Responsibilities

1.Creating a roadmap for driving ESG Practices to for Carbon Neutrality

2.To drive the bank towards undertaking Science based targets

3.To lead the ESG committee of the bank

4.To build the banks position on responsible lending

5.Financed Emissions assessment and transition plans for lending portfolio

6.Reporting,Disclosures & Compliance related to them

7.Assurance and Integrated Annual Report

8.ESG Ratings for National /International Positioning & Database

9.MaintainInvestorRelations

10.Undertake Digital Initiatives
