Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned digital leader with 10+ years of experience to head and scale the Digital Division. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, deep digital expertise, senior client leadership, and the ability to drive business growth through New Business Development (NBD).
The incumbent will have end-to-end ownership of digital strategy, client relationships, team leadership, delivery excellence, and revenue growth for the digital vertical.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Leadership & Division Ownership
Lead the overall digital vision, strategy, and growth roadmap for the agency.
Build, scale, and manage the entire digital division including social media, content, performance marketing, influencers, and emerging platforms.
Define digital frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.
Own P&L responsibility for the digital vertical (where applicable).
Client Relationship & Strategic Account Leadership
Act as the primary strategic partner for key and high-value clients.
Translate business objectives into integrated digital, content, and media strategies.
Lead client meetings, strategic reviews, pitches, and quarterly business discussions.
Manage escalations, ensure service excellence, and drive long-term client retention and growth.
Social Media, Content & Campaign Strategy
Lead platform-wise content and campaign strategies across social, digital, and integrated campaigns.
Oversee and approve content calendars, creative outputs, reels, videos, and campaign ideas before client sharing.
Ensure brand tonality, storytelling, and business objectives are met across all digital touchpoints.
Drive innovation in formats, engagement models, and conversion-led storytelling.
New Business Development (NBD) & Growth
Actively contribute to new business acquisition for the digital vertical.
Lead and support pitch strategy, ideation, and senior-level presentations for digital mandates.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
Collaborate with leadership to define pricing models, scope documents, and commercial proposals.
Build strong industry relationships and represent the agency in relevant forums and meetings.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team including digital strategists, content leads, designers, social media managers, performance marketers, and interns.
Define team structures, roles, KPIs, and growth paths.
Conduct regular reviews, provide constructive feedback, and drive continuous upskilling.
Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Execution Excellence & Project Management
Oversee end-to-end execution of digital campaigns, influencer collaborations, and paid media initiatives.
Ensure quality control, timely delivery, and adherence to brand and agency standards.
Coordinate closely with internal teamscreative, content, design, performanceand external partners.
Ensure seamless workflows from briefing to delivery and reporting.
Data, Insights & Reporting
Review and analyse campaign performance, platform analytics, and ROI metrics.
Present monthly and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights to clients and leadership.
Identify trends, gaps, and optimisation opportunities to drive account growth.
Innovation
Introduce new formats, engagement models, and innovation-led solutions for clients.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvements, and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital client servicing, or integrated marketing roles.
Proven experience leading and scaling a digital team or division.
Strong expertise in social media strategy, content, performance marketing, analytics, and campaign planning.
Demonstrated experience in new business development, pitching, and client acquisition.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.
