We are looking for a dynamic leader to own Production Planning & Control (PPC) and Direct Materials Procurement for our operations. This role will integrate production planning with procurement strategy to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing, optimal inventory, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Location: Bangalore

What Youll Do:

• Lead end-to-end production planning, scheduling, MPS, and MRP.
• Ensure plan adherence, capacity optimization, and OTIF performance.
• Drive direct materials procurement strategy aligned with production plans.
• Manage supplier performance, cost optimization, negotiations, and LTAs.
• Ensure material availability with zero line stoppages.
• Integrate PPC and procurement into a unified demandsupply execution model.
• Optimize inventory, WIP, and working capital.
• Support new program launches, ramp-ups, and engineering changes.

• Production plan adherence & OTIF delivery 25%
• Direct material availability & zero line stoppages 25%
• Inventory optimization & working capital 20%
• Direct material cost competitiveness 15%
• Supplier performance & risk mitigation 15%

Who Were Looking For:

• Education: BE/B.Tech Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; MBA/PGDM Operations or Supply Chain
• Experience: 1218 years in PPC and direct procurement roles
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong execution discipline & cross-functional leadership
• Commercial acumen & data-driven decision making
• Proven ability to align production, procurement, and supply chain for maximum efficiency
• Personal Attributes: Leadership presence, integrity, resilience
