Role Details:

Head Commercial Excellence role with Zydus Wellness, the company behind iconic brands such as Complan, Glucon-D, Sugar Free, Nutralite, Everyuth, Nycil, Dlite, ImLite, MaxProtein, WeightWorld, MaxMedix, Animigo and Cuticolor.

Role Purpose:

Create and deploy a strong, sharp roadmap for accelerated and sustainable channel business objectives delivery (Topline Delivery, GTM, Cost to Serve, Sales Efficiency)

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

- Financial: Develop and deploy a compelling vision and road map for the Sales organization to build a Future Ready and evolving Platform to deliver on hard performance metrics while optimizing the overall Cost to Serve

- Customer: Have a very high degree of capability of moving the needle with stakeholders. Pushing the envelope comes naturally to you

- Process: Ability to drive high ROI from large ticket investments in various functional initiatives

- People: Excellent communication skills - should be able to interact with multiple stakeholders

Key Deliverables:

- Be the anchor and owner of planning and executing annual, quarterly and monthly spends for the Channel across all brands.

- Liaison with Govt officials for smoother operations.

- Keeping the outstanding under control to have healthy working capital status.

- Work very closely across all allied functions such as Supply, Commercial and IT to ensure the given agendas fall into place operationally as per aligned timelines

- Sales capability enhancement of the team through need identification and relevant training.

Key Interactions:

- In Depth understanding of FMCG / Channel dynamics, Role of channel activations, Trade Spend, ROI maximization and strategies to drive last mile execution

- Responsible for Top line and the bottom line. Planning for all sales / Trade marketing and marketing initiatives

- Highly proficient in MS Office/Excel, adept at Sales technology tools utilization and development

Teams Size

The position will have 5 direct reportees and 4 indirect reportees

Educational Qualifications:

- MBA Premier 'B' School

- Experience (Type & Nature): 12 - 15 years of work experience, primarily FMCG
