Job Description: Chef de Cuisine
Location: Bangalore
Role Overview
Lead kitchen operations for luxury banqueting/catering, delivering high-quality, innovative cuisine while managing costs, teams, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design seasonal menus, plating, and recipes ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
- Supervise food prep/production; estimate needs, order supplies, enforce sanitation/safety.
- Lead/train kitchen brigade (cooks, stewards); coordinate for banquets/events (weddings/MICE).
- Monitor costs (food cost <35%), variances, waste; analyze trends for menu engineering.
- Collaborate with Ops/Sales on client events; adapt to feedback/innovate dishes.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma Hospitality; 5-8 years luxury hotel/banqueting (Sous Chef level).
- Expertise in multi-cuisine, HACCP/FSSAI; Bangalore networks preferred.
- Creative leader with strong English/Hindi communication
