We are seeking a seasoned procurement leader to head our Central Indirect OPEX Procurement (Material Supply) function and drive enterprise-wide value creation through strategic sourcing, cost optimization, consolidation, and operational excellence. This role will lead large-scale indirect spend and play a critical role in shaping procurement strategy.

Role Overview

As Central Procurement Head Indirect OPEX(Material Supply), you will:

• Define and lead the enterprise-wide Indirect OPEX procurement strategy
• Drive spend consolidation and leverage economies of scale across businesses
• Lead high-value, complex negotiations and provide strategic guidance to business stakeholders
• Build deep market intelligence and supplier insights to enable fact-based decision-making
• Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to align procurement outcomes with business objectives
• Lead transformation initiatives, including process excellence, digital procurement, and change management
• Establish strong governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls
• Develop talent, define KPIs, and build a high-performing procurement organization

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 25+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement (Materials Supply)
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams of managers and buyers
• Demonstrated ownership of USD 750+ million annual indirect OPEX spend-
• (Material Supply) within large-scale enterprises or conglomerates
• Deep techno-commercial expertise in indirect supplies procurement
• Strong, established supplier relationships, preferably within steel, metals, manufacturing, or heavy industries
• Track record of cost optimization, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and market intelligence
• Strong passion for digital procurement and transformation

Qualifications

• Graduation required (BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA)
