The Business Finance team at Navi plays a crucial role in driving business performance across different Business Verticals. They identify and drive initiatives to optimize costs and increase revenue . They provide valuable insights and support in data-driven decision-making and shaping key business strategies to optimize financial outcomes.

About the Role

A strategic finance role focused on driving financial planning, capital allocation, and business performance. Involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and drive initiatives to increase Revenue and optimise costs. They provide support for decision-making, and enhance financial governance. The role also supports fundraising efforts, and leading key financial initiatives across the organization.

What We Expect From You

Identify and own key initiatives to optimize costs and increase revenue

• Drive the agenda of cost optimization by granularly looking at every cost in the organisation
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and drive them in collaboration with Business and other stakeholders

Financial Planning and Capital Allocation Strategy

• Lead the quarterly/annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning exercise for all business lines.
• Work with the management to allocate capital efficiently across various initiatives

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct monthly variance analysis (vs AOP) to assess financial performance.
• Financial analysis/insights to support business decision-making.
• Presenting the financial performance to key internal/ external stakeholders

Business Partnering:

• Offer insights on the financial implications of business decisions to stakeholders.
• Assist the business teams in evaluating new initiatives/ lines of business.

Cost Optimization and Governance:

• Identify initiatives to optimize costs across various functions.
• Establish effective monitoring and governance mechanisms for expenses across the company
• Periodic deep dive into company wide cost trends

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business finance team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration
• Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role , with a track record of success in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong understanding of business operations , financial modeling , and strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business performance and delivering results.
• Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
