Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur for the position of Head - Biomedical Engineer. The role involves overseeing the management and maintenance of medical equipment, developing and implementing strategies for preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with clinical engineering standards. The selected candidate will lead a team of professionals, assist in the procurement and installation of biomedical equipment, and support medical staff by providing technical expertise to improve patient care. The role will also require liaising with various departments, conducting training programs, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering concepts and practices
• Proficiency in the maintenance and management of Medical Equipment, including troubleshooting and quality checks
• Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance strategies
• Exceptional managerial and leadership skills with experience in heading multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution
• 20+ years of experience in the field, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
