Head - Hire to Retire Business Applications & Transformation

Location: Mumbai

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of HR Business Sytems to lead our Human Resources Business landscape and associated business transformation enablement. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all HR technology systems and initiatives within the organization in addition to that you will actively partner with the business stakeholders to enrich business process and associated technology enablement. You will play a critical role in driving digital transformation efforts, ensuring the alignment of HR technology solutions with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Lead the HR IT department, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the effective management of all HR technology systems and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop technology solutions that support HR objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Manage vendor relationships and partnerships, ensuring the selection of best-in-class HR technology vendors and overseeing contract negotiations and service level agreements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging HR technology trends and developments, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategies for adoption.
  • Develop and maintain HR IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of HR technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to HR IT team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics and KPIs, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between HR and IT departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure the effective integration of HR technology solutions with other business systems.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in HR technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex HR technology projects and initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS. Exposure to SAP HCM, SuccessFactor, Concur and SAP landscape will be a huge added asset.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Certification in relevant HR and IT disciplines (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
