HCL DX and WCM Specialist

We are looking for an experienced HCL DX (Digital Experience) / Web Content Management (WCM) professional to join our team and support both development and business-critical initiatives.

Location : Chennai/ Hyderabad, Noida

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level skills in evaluation, development, testing, and delivery of HCL DX WCM applications and business processes
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Create and modify HCL DX WCM configurations following defined development standards and design specifications
• Develop test scripts, perform unit testing, and support integration testing
• Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
• Conduct detailed impact assessments for change requests and propose cost-effective solutions
• Ensure change controls are developed, tested, and released according to agreed schedules, escalating high-impact changes when required
• Participate in both support and development activities, demonstrating strong business process design capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in WCM / Portal 8, 8.5, or 9 development
• Strong experience designing and implementing solutions in WCM / Portal environments
• Expertise in WCM and DAM REST APIs
• Hands-on experience using HCL DX as a headless CMS
• Experience with personalization and search configurations
• Extensive knowledge of WCM component design and development
• Experience with custom WCM items (workflows, plugins, JSPs)
• Solid understanding of Java / J2EE
• Strong Portlet development experience
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Dojo
• Experience with portal theme development
• Good portal administration skills
• Knowledge of Docker, containers, and Kubernetes (preferred)
• XMLAccess import/export experience
• Strong WCM debugging skills
• Good communication skills in English
