Harness Development Engineer

Qualification: BE / ME / B-Tech / M-Tech: Electrical / E&TC / Electronics / Mechanical / Automobile

Experience Range: 3 to 4 Years 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Sound knowledge in Electrical harness routing & design for Heavy commercial vehicles (electrical parameters selection, electric circuits, vehicle aggregates relations with electrical harness, creation of wire routing etc.)
• Good knowledge of CATIA EHI
• Good knowledge of electrical components & packaging 
• Good hand on experience in CATIA for 3D model preparation with CATIA module like part design, assembly and drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (wiring harness, sheet metal etc.) 
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, presentation skills and team player
• Knowledge of homologations standards related to Harness.
• Knowledge of product development cycle.
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g., 3 months)

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of working experience in PLM: windchill or OAS
• VBA / CATIA macro / Programming
• Basic knowledge of electrical components testing parameters, design validation plan preparation of wiring harness
• Basic knowledge of design quality process
• Good knowledge of GD&T. should be able to do tolerance stack up.
