Job Description
Six Sense Mobility is an automotive deep-tech company based in Delhi, India, specializing in advanced engineering products and smart mobility solutions for automotive OEMs and fleet operators. Our core focus is on developing cutting-edge Telematics Control Units (TCUs), Body Control Units (BCUs), and intelligent vehicle electronics that enhance safety, connectivity, and compliance (AIS-140).
1. Role Overview :
- Title: Hardware Electronics Tester (Electronics Test Engineer/Technician).
- Role: Critical Quality Control role focusing on physical hardware validation.
- Objective: Ensure electronic components and systems meet stringent design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Reports To: Engineering Manager.
- Key Focus: Verification and Validation (V&V) of physical electronic hardware for demanding automotive applications.
2. Core Responsibilities and Duties :
Testing & Execution :
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and procedures for PCBs.
- Perform functional, performance, stress, thermal, and compatibility tests (manual and automated).
- Utilize specialized equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
Analysis & Troubleshooting :
- Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot defects down to the component level.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on hardware failures and non-conformance issues.
- Re-test modified products to verify successful corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Accurately record all test results, procedures, and observations.
- Generate comprehensive test reports, failure summaries, and recommendations.
- Maintain a log of testing equipment calibration and maintenance records.
Collaboration & Design :
- Collaborate with Hardware Design Engineers to suggest Design for Test (DFT) modifications for improved reliability.
- Assist in designing and setting up custom test fixtures and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Compliance
- Ensure all testing adheres to relevant industry and automotive standards, including FCC, CE, ISO, SAE, and AIS environmental standards.
3. Required Qualifications and Skills :
Technical Skills :
- Electronics Fundamentals: Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit theory and component interactions.
- Schematic Interpretation: Proficiency in reading complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Test Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, C, or C++ for test automation.
- Assembly/Repair: Basic proficiency in soldering and rework techniques for PCBs (a plus).
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in a lab environment, hardware testing, or QA, preferably in the automotive or deep-tech sector.
CTC- As per market standard
