Job Details:
-You will work onsite out of our Bangalore office
-Stipend of 30000 per month
-The internship duration is 3-6 months , starting from January

About Us:
uDot has developed a tactile/haptics display for blind students -comprising ~2400 refreshable pins that can render graphics, animations and braille.
This device renders interactive content that enables blind learners to independently access and master Science, Math and other visual concepts.

As we step into production, we are looking for engineers who will work on actual product problem statements across Production, RnD, Reliability with ownership and a bias to action.
What Youll Do at uDot:
-Design and iterate mechanical and mechatronic components
-Build rapid prototypes using various fabrication techniques( 3d Printing, CNC Machining etc)
-Work with microcontrollers (ESP32 / Arduino or similar) for actuation, sensing, control and testing
-Collaborate with RnD and production teams
-Perform basic engineering analysis when required(Force and load estimation, tolerances, motion etc)
-Support DFM / DFA as designs move toward production
-Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for parts sourcing, quality control
-Perform reliability testing , failure analysis
-Document designs, tests, and learnings clearly

Who Were Looking For:
- Has strong hands-on real world project experience
-Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelors in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field. (Not mandatory, practical skills matter more)
-Enjoys building, testing, breaking, and iterating on physical systems
-Possess skill sets and proficiencies required to execute aforementioned job role
