Educational Qualification: B.E (Instrumentation / ECE / EEE) full time from reputed institutes.

Experience (in years): 5 -7 years

Nature of Experience:

• Experience with schematic design and PCB layout using Alitum or OrCAD.
• Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers, DC-DC power sections is required.
• Understanding of board testing, analog and digital circuit characteristics, interfacing of peripherals with microcontrollers.
• Experience with RS485, CAN, FLASH, SD Card, Bluetooth Op-Amp, PWM controllers.
• Understanding of product cycle from design to production, including release of at least 1 product at established organization.
• Experience with BMS and BESS sector is preferred.
• Hands on experience in HW level EMI/ EMC debugging and compliance test execution is a plus.
• Experience on standards like IEC 62619, IEC 62620, IEC 61000-6-4, IEC 61000-6-2 is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Design, development and testing of BMS for various BESS applications.
• Hardware board bring-up and testing with in-depth analysis of each section.
• Determine the design limits of individual hardware blocks like power supply, MOSFET, RS485, for worst case operating scenarios.
• MOSFET bench marking and testing for LFP Batteries.
• Development of EOL procedures and Test jigs for production quality assessment.
• Coordination with production and EMS vendors.
• Creating Hardware level design architecture for new products. (Experience in functional safety for high voltage applications is a plus).
• Good understanding of product power consumption profile. Which includes consumption of different sections across all modes of operation.
• Understanding degrading in various hardware sections to predict failure cases and improve implement corrections. (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
