We are launching a new R&D and engineering office in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to support next-generation product development. We are hiring key team members to drive hardware innovation in this new setup
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on, experienced R&D/Product Development Electronics Engineer to join our Coimbatore team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who enjoys taking ownership from concept to working prototypes and scaling to production
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document system and project architecture, including planning for prototyping, sampling, validation, and mass production readiness
- Lead projects independently from concept and prototyping through final production, aligned with R&D, product, and manufacturing goals
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: build prototypes from scratch, test, validate, debug, and support scaling to mass production
- Execute complete PCB design: schematic capture, component selection, placement, routing, and design validation using tools such as Altium or KiCad
- Perform hands-on prototyping and live testing/debugging to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Work with IoT and connectivity modules (motor drivers, GNSS, Quectel/SIMCom, cellular/eSIM/SIM-related integration) for data-oriented applications
- Program and integrate microcontrollers and embedded systems (ESP32, STM32, Atmel, PIC or similar)
- Support assembly and integration into enclosures/panels, including hand soldering and use of common tools as needed
- Analyze system failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Drive process improvements across hardware and hardware-software integration workflows
- Maintain clear documentation and production records (test reports, validation logs, BOMs, revisions, and build notes)
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, validation, and embedded system development
- Strong working knowledge of Altium Designer or KiCad
- Strong debugging skills across hardware bring-up, signal integrity basics, power systems, and embedded interfaces
- Ability to take ownership and deliver across the full product cycle
