Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Guidewire Architect with deep expertise in Guidewire Configuration and Integration to lead large-scale Insurance product implementations and upgrades.

This role demands strong architectural ownership across Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC) platforms, including cloud and hybrid deployments. You will define the technical roadmap, design scalable solutions, and provide architectural leadership on enterprise-wide Guidewire initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for Guidewire implementations (PC/BC/CC).
• Define architecture, roadmap, and technical design for Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations (On-prem / Cloud / Hybrid).
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within Guidewire ecosystems.
• Develop architectural blueprints and long-term technology strategies.
• Provide leadership in greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.
• Work extensively with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, and GOSU programming.
• Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, security, availability, DR.
• Provide expert-level guidance to developers and integration teams.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, QA, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
• Lead sprint estimations, backlog prioritization, and technical planning.
• Create and maintain architecture documents, integration guides, and deployment procedures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 10+ years of Guidewire implementation & upgrade experience (Insurance domain mandatory)
• Strong experience in:
• Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter
• Guidewire Configuration & Integration
• GOSU Programming
• Guidewire Cloud & Edge APIs
• Expertise in REST/SOAP Web Services
• Data Modeling & Microservices Architecture
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns
• Experience defining NFRs (Performance, Scalability, Security, DR)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with large-scale Insurance transformation programs
