GST & Audit Assistant Manager

Location : Kolkata (Head Office)

Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years (in a Managerial Role in a CA Firm)

Educational Qualifications : C.A / C.M.A / C.A (Drop-out with equivalent experience. Mandatory to have prior managerial experience in a reputed CA firm in a similar capacity for at least 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 510 audit and tax professionals and independently resolve client and technical queries.

Manage end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, registrations, reconciliations, audits, and advisory deliverables.

Head internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance under GST, Income Tax, and the Companies Act, and deliver actionable audit reports.

Draft and file replies to GST SCNs, handle departmental audits, investigations, appeals, and refund matters, and represent clients before authorities.

Work hands-on with Tally Prime, SAP, Busy, Real Books, and GST software (e.g., KDK).

Conduct client meetings, manage ongoing assignments, and build long-term professional relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidate Profile:

1. Strong command over English, both written and spoken.

2. Deep conceptual understanding of GST Law, rules, procedures, and emerging developments.

3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage cross-functional audit teams.

4. Prior experience in a reputed CA firm in a similar capacity for at least 3 years is mandatory.

Remuneration:

Salary Range: 15,000 25,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skill)
