About Zero Protocol


Zero Protocol is a media brand built around sharp conversations, emotional honesty, culture, ambition, identity, and modern Indian storytelling.


We publish across YouTube, Instagram, and audio streaming platforms and care deeply about two things:


  1. Hosting impactful conversations
  2. Making sure people actually see it


We are hiring a Growth + Distribution Lead to own how our content gets packaged, published, distributed, understood, and scaled. This is one of the most important roles in our team.


Role Overview

You will own audience growth across platforms.


That means making sure every episode, clip, title, thumbnail direction, launch, and distribution decision is working toward one thing: getting the right people to click, watch, stay, share, and come back


You should understand the difference between:

content that is good

content that is discoverable

content that compounds

And ideally, you should know how to make all three happen together.


Key Responsibilities

Own YouTube publishing and distribution strategy

Lead title ideation, metadata, descriptions, and chaptering

Collaborate on thumbnail and packaging strategy

Build and manage Instagram Reels distribution plans

Oversee short-form rollout and sequencing from each episode

Ensure proper publishing across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other audio platforms

Track and analyze content performance across platforms

Pull insights from CTR, audience retention, watch time, shares, saves, and repeat viewership

Recommend and execute growth experiments across titles, hooks, formats, timing, and packaging

Build guest amplification and post-launch distribution systems

Develop repeatable workflows for content distribution and reporting


What You Need to Be Good At


Lets keep this simple.

You should probably apply only:


You understand YouTube properly: CTR, watch time, retention, subscriber conversion, packaging, title logic, viewer behavior, all of it

You understand Instagram Reels beyond post more frequently and use trending audio

You can look at numbers and tell us what they mean without turning into a management consultant in a black t-shirt

You have strong editorial judgment for titles, hooks, framing, and audience positioning

You can build systems.

You can think strategically and execute consistently

You have worked with content, creators, podcasts, media brands, or distribution-heavy businesses(good to have)

You are comfortable in a fast-moving creative environment where people care about quality and dont enjoy babysitting

You can take ownership without needing daily spoon-feeding


Youll Probably Do Well Here If

Youve helped grow a YouTube channel, creator brand, podcast, or media company

You understand Indian internet behavior and platform culture

You know the difference between reach, relevance, retention, and actual brand-building

You have taste

You have judgment

You need seven meetings to change a YouTube title

You say viral a lot, but cannot explain retention curves

You want a chill social media role where nothing is your fault
