Group Product Manager- Veterinary

Position: SPM/ GPM Veterinary Division (Cattle & Canine)

Department: Marketing

Location: Head Office- Mumbai

Reporting To: Business Head Veterinary

Role Objective

To drive strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and business growth for the Cattle & Canine product portfolio by developing strong brand strategies, supporting field teams, and strengthening market presence in the Veterinary segment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

• Develop and implement marketing strategy for Cattle & Canine portfolio.
• Manage product life cycle from concept to commercialization.
• Identify new product opportunities and portfolio expansion.

Market Intelligence

• Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and demand assessment.
• Monitor product performance, pricing trends, and market share.

Product Launch & Promotion

• Plan and execute new product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Develop promotional materials, visual aids, and marketing inputs.
• Ensure effective product communication and brand positioning.

Sales & Field Support

• Train and support sales teams, veterinarians, and channel partners.
• Participate in field visits, veterinary conferences, and CMEs.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (Veterinarians) and Institutions.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance to existing regulation for product promotion

Qualification

• B.V.Sc / M.V.Sc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Marketing preferred)

Experience

• 812 years in Veterinary Pharma / Animal Health Industry
• Minimum 58 years experience in Product Management
