Group Financial Controller

Acclaim Consultants is looking for Group Finance Controller for a esteemed client in Edtech industry headquatered in UK.

Role: Group Financial Controller

Location: Noida (Work from office, 5 days/week)

Experience: 12 - 15+ years

Skill set: Looking for someone with financial controllership experience managing multiple entities of the group across geographies (e.g., the USA, UK, APAC, Europe)expertise in UK GAAP and multi-currency accounting.

This role is a senior technical finance position with no direct people management but significant cross-functional collaboration with management accountants, Finance Business Partners, and regional finance leads.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of consolidation, UK GAAP (FRS 102), and multi-currency accounting, along with the ability to influence and coordinate across geographies to ensure the groups financial statements are robust, compliant, and delivered on time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1215+ years in finance, with extensive experience in multi-entity group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Proven expertise in UK GAAP (FRS 102) and multi-currency accounting.
• Exposure to international operations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in working within a global finance environment

Technical Skills:

• Strong consolidation skills, knowledge of intercompany processes, and elimination adjustments.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple countries and time zones.
• Effective communicator with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
